ehui's bbq yesterday was a blast! GO GIRL! FIFTEEN BIRTHDAY BUMPS WITH THE HAMMER! i ate loads. marshmallow after marshmallow, otah after otah, chicken wing after chicken wing, bowl of beehoon after bowl of beehoon, stick of satay after stick of satay, cup of ribena after cup of ribena.. a lot man! it was really fun. janella pan-e ehui tanya and me had a great time splashing each other. my poor 1e3/2e3 class tee. >< and i was eating curry, had this big bowl of curry on my lap, then it split on me! so my tee was covered with curry and i stood underneath the tap at the swimming pool to get it all off. haha. my poor tee.
went for mass this morning. fun! father larry's last mass with us. haha. this is funny:
"i have this friend. quite a close friend. one day, he came into my room and shouted 'Father! Father! Praise the Lord!' so i asked him, 'why are you praising the Lord?' his reply was 'I've got cancer!'
'so why are you so happy??'
'because i know how i will die! some people don't know how they'll die, but i know how i'll die! i'll die of cancer! and i've got good news!'
'what good news?'
'i've got a year to live! so now i know when i'll die and how i'll die!'
and after a few days..
'Father! Father! PRAISE THE LORD!'
'why are you praising the Lord?'
'I've got 12 years to live! Twelve years!'
'oh! how come?'
'i went to 12 different doctors and they all those me i have one year to live, so now i have 12 years to live!'
that was 10 years ago. and till now, he's still living. cancer has just gone away. see, to be a Christian you must be positive. my friend is so positive."
