oof i'm really tired now! had ballet last night and tonight, and today went out with some classmates too.
these two days have been the open house for vaganova intermediate at ppas, held mainly for the ymca students who wanted extra lessons. XD haha, not that i minded. good exercise. yesterday the studio was FILLED! 18 students! so cool okay i tell you i haven't seen the studio so full since like, 1998 or something? since the tofu town performance. anyway, there were really really good dancers there, the bolshoi meiyi, and some other dancers too. i want to dance like them!
anyway all of them were wearing like skirts or shorts or extra stuff on top of the basic leotard and tights.. and they were all super colourful. so i felt kinda out-of-place. but yesterday i was wearing my maroon leotard so it wasn't so bad, at least i had some colour. today.. i was wearing my black leotard! it looked so simple compared to everything else. high-backed, black, normal straps leotard with lousy damaged pink tights, no skirt, no shorts, no pants. but i liked it that way. no extra clothes to spoil my movements. XD
and for both nights we did lots of turns. we'd have detournes and fouettes and different kinds of turns! am glad to say i am finally working a bit harder for the fouettes. heehee. getting a bit of the hang of it.. and today we did the swan lake variation that we were taught before, eheheh, so fun! meep!
heehee i'm very happy now. looking forward to the next lesson on sunday! (even though its a normal sunday lesson!)

camp's in less than 24hours. i'm packed. my stuff is leaving the house in about an hour. i just printed the admin/logs stuff. and then suddenly i realize..
throughout the planning for this we barely put much thought into budget. me, barely put much thought into budget. and now there's this horrible ominous cloud over my brain. the cloud keeps raining thoughts of "not enough $$" into my brain!
this is bad.
oh well. things should settle itself. if i become my normal self and be a little more stingy and thrifty in the expenditure..
whoosh. not much time left to idle away (actually i'm already backlogging on the "to-do" for today!) so, i'll see you guys soon. :)
